Gebr. van ‘t Hek is a Dutch market leader with international ambitions, specialising in work on waterways, along railway lines, in city centres and in excavations and basements. By installing 3 batteries and a control box for off-grid operation, they are no longer dependent on the power grid and can continue to operate even in the event of a power failure.
In addition, the solar panels and charging stations have been made fully controllable by an intelligent energy management system (EMS) so that they can make optimum use of their own energy. For added security, a diesel generator has been integrated as a back-up option.
This allows the company to grow as fast as its ambitions.
